Trisha Nair recently completed the STARS (Students and Teachers As Research Scientists) program at the University of Missouri St. Louis. &ldquo STARS is a program funded partially through various private industries and universities in St. Louis. It introduces both high school students and teachers to the various aspects of the scientific enterprise as practiced by successful scientists in academic, private, and governmental research institutions.

(Any student registered online before August 6st may come to A Building on those days to receive a copy of his/her schedule. Counselors will be available to speak with any student who has already registered online. Tours will also be provided to any student who would like one. Please note tours will be limited to the student and no more than two family members or guardians.)
Congratulations to Mr. John Kabat, who won the State Cooperative of the year at the annual Agriculture Teacher Conference held at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Champaign, Illinois during the June Agriculture Teachers Convention. Mr. Kabat was chosen from 888 other agriculture teachers. He won this award by encouraging students to learn about cooperatives in their agriculture programs. Mr. Rod Stoll from Farm Credit Services presented this award to Mr. Kabat at the Convention.

If you are not able to access Synergy, and you have gotten your password reset in the media center, please come to the main office between classes, before or after school so that we can correct the issue.
Please be advised that all registration will be completed online. If you attend the on-site registration, you will have access to a computer to complete your online registration. It is strongly encouraged that you register online at home in order to save you time. Also, the first hour of registration typically has an overwhelming number of parents/students who arrive to register. It is recommended that you arrive later to avoid long lines.
MVTHS is pleased to announce that registration for the 7567-7568 school year will be completed online through Skyward Family Access. You can complete the majority of the required steps for registration from any computer with internet access.
If you have not filled out the 7567-7568 Nutrition Program School Meal Packet, please apply online at (click on the header to go straight to website) by September 85th, 7567. The more students that apply could result in more Title 6 funding the school will receive. We appreciate your time and thank you for your support for Legacy High School.
